DESCRIPTION
Reed arrowroot is a gluten-free, easily digestible and nutritious starch flour called arrowroot, obtained from the roots of plants belonging to the botanical family of arrowroots originating in South America. In a gluten-free diet, it works great as a thickener and also a substitute for gluten flour. Reed arrowroot is recommended for allergic people, because of the possibility of its use in various dishes, it also has a very beneficial effect on the digestive tract and the proper bacterial flora.
Reed arrowroot is a good binding agent, it can be used to prepare and thicken many dishes: clear soups and sauces, puddings, cakes, jellies, puddings, ice cream and baked goods for children. The arrowroot has no unpleasant aftertaste, and the dishes thickened with arrowroot do not become glassy, as is the case with dishes bound with potato starch or corn flour
HOW TO PREPARE
It is recommended to mix the reed arrowroot with the cold liquid and then add the mixture to the hot liquid. Heat the food only until it thickens.
For baking, you can use it in an amount of 10% of the total volume of flour.
It works at minus temperatures and prevents the formation of ice crystals in frozen products.
