Organic unroasted buckwheat is most often used as an ingredient in dinners in combination with vegetables or goulash and as an addition to soups, stews and pates. Due to the high content of carbohydrates and fiber, roasted buckwheat is very filling. After harvesting, it is not heat treated, so it provides more nutrients for roasted porridge. It also has a much softer taste. Finding an application for unroasted buckwheat is not a problem even for a kitchen layman. You can serve it with sauces, vegetables or treat it as part of one-pot dishes and as an addition to the soup. It tastes great in the company of meat, mushrooms and fish. Buckwheat not roasted in a five-kilogram container is an economical choice because you can use groats for a longer period. Buckwheat from Polish crops also has a BIO certificate confirming ecological origin.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Before consumption, you should cook buckwheat in salted water in a proportion of 1 part water to 2 parts groats. Cook porridge on low heat for about 20 minutes.
