After use, throw it into a composter or BIO waste - not for segregation with plastic. It decomposes in soil for about 6 months, in industrial composting plants for about 6 weeks. It is completely safe for the environment because it is made of sugar cane. It is not covered with polyethylene, which makes it biodegradable.
The packaging is also made of compostable foil.
