Biotin is a water-soluble vitamin from the B group. Produced by the intestinal bacterial flora, it is essential for proper metabolism, especially in the metabolism of glucose, which blood levels is stabilized by it. In addition, it helps maintain strong hair, healthy skin and unbreakable nails.
Biotin has a number of important functions in the body: it participates in the synthesis of fatty acids, the metabolism of amino acids and the processes of converting non-sugar compounds into glucose. As a result, it contributes to the proper conversion of nutrients into energy.
It helps fight the deteriorated condition of the hair (hair loss, reduction of thickness and bounce) and brittle nails.
