Diatomaceous earth, also called diatomite and diatomite earth, is a natural mineral sedimentary rock formed about 30 million years ago. It is a sedimentary rock consisting of amorphous diatom shells that are free of impurities. Diatoms are unicellular algae, and of them fossilized armor formed during the cement process, diatomaceous earth is formed. Rocks are made mainly of silicon, are soft and formed in cold seas and lakes. The soil is white or slightly yellow, it is a light, porous and dusty powder. Natvita diatomaceous earth comes from deposits in Nevada, which determines its high quality. In Poland, diatomaceous earth deposits are located in Łódź, Poznań, Bircza and Augustów.
This substance is used in households as a safe and natural insecticide, cleansing and for filtration. In industry, it is used as a filter, for example in food production. It can be used as a bleaching and dehydrating agent, as a bactericide and as an odor absorbing agent. It is also used as an ingredient in cosmetics. Thanks to its abrasive properties, it is used as a body and face scrub or as a component of toothpaste. Used as an ingredient in the peeling, it has a refreshing and cleansing effect on the skin and is suitable for sensitive skin. It is also found in water filters, air fresheners and plant protection products.

INGREDIENTS
89-95% amorphous SiO2 silica, less than 1% crystalline silicon.
Origin: freshwater deposits (USA).

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Add 3 g (1 scoop) of powder to 250 ml of water for filtration.
