The preparation contains 1000 mg of vitamin C in each tablet in the form of Ester C®. The preparation is a source of a special form of vitamin C, which is soluble in both water and fat. It also contains citrus bioflavonoids, wild rose, rutin and acerola. These ingredients naturally and actively intensify the action of vitamin C. Ester C® is patented and contains active metabolites of vitamin C (L-threonic, L-lsonic and L-xylonic acid), which significantly increase the activity of vitamin C enabling its unique action in the system 2-4–4 compared to ordinary vitamin C. Tablets with vitamin C - Ester C 500 mg from Solgar are non-acid (vitamin C is calcium buffered), i.e. they have a neutral pH of 6.7. This form of vitamin C is friendly to the digestive tract and kidneys, even at higher doses.
