The glucosamine in Jarrow Formulas® Glucosamine HCI Mega is an aminosaccharide bound to HCl (hydrochloric acid). Glucosamine occurs naturally in the human body, but is synthesized in small amounts and its production decreases with age. It is a component of the joint and intestinal tissue and is involved in the production of synovial fluid that lubricates the joints. for this reason, it is an ideal supplement to the diet of physically active people and the elderly who have problems with the locomotor system. It is converted in the intestines by goblet cells into N-acetylglucosamine.
Glucosamine HCl does not contain salt. Jarrow Formulas® Glucosamine HCI Mega is a sodium-free form of glucosamine.

INGREDIENTS
Glucosamine HCl, anti-caking agents: cellulose, magnesium salts of fatty acids, silicon dioxide and fatty acids, coating agent.

Amount in the daily portion (1 tablet):
Glucosamine HCI - 1000 mg

HOW TO USE
One tablet a day. Do not exceed recommended servings for consumption during the day. The product cannot be used as a substitute for a properly varied diet. The product is not recommended for pregnant and lactating women.
