The preparation contains grape seed extract, which are a source of polyphenols. Under the chemical name polyphenols there is a whole group of nutrients called OPC - oligomeric proanthocyanidins. The seeds in the preparation are obtained from the vineyards of the southern regions of France. Appropriate soil, plantation height and southern orientation of the slope plane are taken into account. The method of producing propane, created exclusively by Solgar, guarantees the full biological activity of all ingredients.
Oligomeric proanthocyanidins are a group of several hundred different synergistically acting compounds. They are sometimes called "super oxidants" because their effect is several dozen times greater than vitamins C and E. Although OPC is also found in green tea, chokeberry, cranberry or Mediterranean pine bark, the best source is grape seeds. Antioxidant activity is based on the removal of free radicals from the body and the protection of cells against oxidative stress.
