DESCRIPTION
Clay is a type of soil produced by rock metamorphosis. It is naturally rich in mineral salts. It occurs in larger or smaller sediments and in most cases is extracted from opencast pits. It was the first natural medicine known to man and has been used for centuries for therapeutic purposes. Clay stands out from other elements thanks to its absorbent and adsorbing capabilities - which means that it can exchange absorbed pollutants and toxins for beneficial minerals.

Clay can be used for masks, compresses and loamy water. Absorbent, cleansing and regenerating, the Cattier Ultra-ventilated Green Clay is well suited to the care of mixed and oily skin. It absorbs and regulates excessed sebum, eliminates toxins and impurities, revitalizes the skin and encourages cell renewal. It also has antiseptic and softening properties.

A METHOD OF PREPARING
Preparation of clay paste: Pour green clay into a wooden or glass container and add water, leave for 30 minutes, then mix with a wooden or plastic spatula to obtain a homogeneous paste. Ultra-ventilated green clay can be used alone or in combination with essential oils.
Face mask: apply clay in a thick coat over the face and neck, avoiding the eye and lip area. Leave for about 10 minutes, do not allow the mask to dry on the skin. Rinse with lukewarm water and dry the skin with a cotton towel.
As a wrap: Place the clay on a piece of natural fiber and use a non-metallic spatula to spread it out to a thickness of 2-3 cm. Make a clay compress directly in contact with the skin and hold it with a bandage, but not too tight. If the compress is applied to an irritated area, place a thin gauze pad between the clay and the skin. Leave the compress in place for one hour. As for taking off, remove as much clay as possible, moisten it if necessary, then rinse with lukewarm water and dry with a cotton towel.
Preparation of clay water: Put one or two tablespoons of green clay into a glass, add water and mix with a wooden or plastic spoon. Wait for the clay to settle on the back of the glass and use only clay water.
