Hazelnuts consist of more than 60% fat, they are mostly monounsaturated fatty acids, in a much smaller amount polyunsaturated and saturated. 17% of their content is carbohydrate, the majority of it is fiber, and 15% is protein. The most characteristic vitamin in hazelnuts is vitamin E. In 100g of nuts there is up to 15mg, which cover 100% of the daily demand for this vitamin. Because of this, nuts have a positive effect on the skin, concentration, memory and vision. Hazelnuts also have many numerous vitamins and minerals, such as: vitamin A, B, C, K vitamins, folic acid, potassium, phosphorus, magnesium, iron, calcium and zinc.
