Inulin, found naturally in chicory, is a fructoligosaccharide, a fiber with a very low glycemic index, which is 14 and a caloric content of 1.6kcal / g, which means that it does not affect glucose levels. Inulin is one of the prebiotics that increase the content of beneficial bacteria in the intestine, mainly bifidobacteria.
