It participates in the oxidation of LSL cholesterol and supports the absorption of iron. This vitamin is involved in the formation of collagen, which is a component of articular cartilage, as a consequence of which regular consumption can positively affect the locomotor system and joint flexibility because it is necessary for the secretion and formation of ossein, which is a bone building component. The effect of this vitamin on teeth and gums is also important - it not only strengthens them, but also kills bacteria that can cause tooth decay.
