Without research, it is difficult to determine the acid-base balance of the body at home. However, urine pH testing allows it to be approximated. The measurement is simple thanks to the detailed instructions attached to the papers.

Precision of measurements

Our papers test the pH with an accuracy of approx. 0.2 degree of pH. Therefore, they are suitable for detailed pH measurements, unlike most other litmus papers, which have a scale of 1 degree.

For example - the urine pH is around 5.6 - 7.5. Using our papers you can find out different, even small pH fluctuations throughout the day, as the papers can successively show the values: 5.6; 5.9; 6.2; 6.5; 6.8; 7.0; 7.2; 7.4. Papers with a color scale at only one pH level will show only a value of 6 or 7.

With papers you can determine both the acidity and alkalosis (alkalosis). Measurements should be carried out for at least two weeks. The papers are accompanied by a table on which measurement results can be systematically applied.

Accurate urine pH measurement:

Collect fresh urine into the dish, tear off the litmus paper and immerse the indicator field (yellow) for approx. 1 second in urine.
You can also moisten litmus paper in the stream of urine.
The pointer field must not be touched with your fingers before!
The indicator field changes color depending on the pH value.
The indicator color should be compared with the color scale within 2 minutes and the pH value read off.
