Lugol's fluid is an aqueous solution of iodide in potassium iodide. This is a recipe developed by Jean Lugol. 1 drop contains about 2 mg iodine and ≈ 4 mg potassium iodide.

Distilled water, potassium iodide, iodine.
RECOMMENDED STORAGE CONDITIONS
Store in a dry, dark and cool place, out of reach of small children.
