Magnesium sulfate is an inorganic chemical compound - sulfuric acid and magnesium salt. It is also known as Epsom salt (bitter salt, English salt, Epso salt, Epsomit, Epsom salt) - this name comes from the town of Epsom in central England, where this compound was obtained by evaporation of mineral water. In appearance, this substance resembles ordinary table salt (sodium chloride), but it has a bitter taste (hence the name bitter salt), has no smell and has a neutral pH for the skin.

APPLICATION

Relaxing bath:

Pour 1-2 cups magnesium sulfate into hot water. Magnesium is a natural antiperspirant, it has a calming effect and supplements the deficiency of this element in the body. The sulfur contained in Epsom salt soothes skin changes.

Softening salt:

about 1/3 cup of magnesium sulfate should be used for one wash; you can add a few drops of fragrance or aroma in the form of oil.

Preparation for the skin after too long exposure to the sun's rays:

dissolve two tablespoons in a glass of water and apply to the skin.

Cleaner

Ideal for cleaning the sink, tiles in the kitchen and bathroom, grouts, etc. To prepare it, mix magnesium sulfate with washing up liquid in equal proportions and create a paste.

Magnesium sulfate in the garden:

as a fertilizer - effective for foliar fertilization with magnesium by spraying, as an insect repellent - for spraying garden and balcony plants, as a nutrient for plants - fertilizes the soil; perfect for conifers and lawns, as well as in the form of fertilizer for garden and potted flowers as well as vegetables.

Use a solution of 1 tablespoon of Epsom salt in 2 L of water. It prevents browning of lawns and conifers, as a snail repellent - sprinkle salt in the area where it occurs or is endangered with snails.
