Currant (Ribes)
The shrub comes from the gooseberry family. There are 150 species in temperate areas throughout the northern hemisphere. Six species are mentioned in Poland, and one of them is blackcurrant. Shrubs can reach a height of up to 3 meters, bearing fruit called black berries. The seeds result in pressing to obtain dark yellow oil, which has recently been used in the cosmetics industry.

Blackcurrant oil (Ribes Nigrum Seed Oil)
Cold-pressed, refined oil obtained from Ribes Nigrum blackcurrant seeds. Blackcurrant seed oil contains quite a lot of GLA-14% acid and rare stearidic acid (SDA). Intended for mature, sensitive, damaged and dry skin.

Usage:
this oil can be applied directly to the skin

addition to moisturizing creams, suggested concentration 5-15%
use as an oil for delicate skin, which thanks to the light formula does not leave the effect of oily skin
moisturizing bath: pour 8-10 ml of oil into a bathtub filled with 1/3 of water
