Pomegranate (Punica granatum)
The plant occurs in the thorny shrub or tree variety. Cultivated in hot and dry climate. Occurs in the Middle East, India, the Mediterranean coast and the Caucasus. One of the oldest Middle East breeding plants. The plant reaches a height of up to 5 meters. Fruits or berries of the plant resemble the shape of large apples or plums. Covered with thick purple or red skin, they have blunt seeds inside. The seeds yield high-quality oil with a thick consistency.

BIO Pomegranate Seed Oil (Punica Granatum Seed Oil)
Cold pressed oil from selected pomegranate tree seeds. The main fatty acid in this oil is punicic acid in excess of 72% responsible for anti-inflammatory properties. It also contains bioactive ingredients: tannins, flavonoids, phytosterols, gammatacoferol, B, C, PP vitamins, citric and malic acid. Due to its strong nutritional and elastic properties, it is increasingly used in natural cosmetics. Recommended for mature, sensitive, dry and aging skin.

Ways to use:
It is not a good base due to its density. Due to the high content of unsaturated fatty acids, use more as an active substance up to 6-7%
A perfect addition to eye creams or swelling ointments
oil massage additive
added in body lotions at a concentration of 5% to the amount of cosmetic prevents the formation of new blood vessels
mix approx. 5 ml pomegranate seed oil with another oil carrier (e.g. avocado) and pour into a bathtub filled with 1/3 of warm water.
