The product contains unsaturated fatty acids Omega 3-6-9 in carefully selected proportions. The NOW® product provides a balanced composition of two essential unsaturated fatty acids (and their derivatives) that condition the regularity of many bodily functions.
Natural fatty acids are necessary for the normal growth and development of human cells and tissues. If the food you eat does not contain these acids, it must be enriched with them. Essential fatty acids EPA and DHA normally are a component of body cells.
This NOW product provides a balanced composition of two essential unsaturated fatty acids (and their derivatives) that condition the regularity of many body functions: Omega 3 oils (linseed and canola) and one Omega 6 type oil (evening primrose and black currant). In contrast, oleic acid in the form of Omega 9 oil (from canola and flax) is monounsaturated fatty acid, which is not considered necessary, but has a beneficial effect on humans.

METHOD OF CONSUMPTION
2 capsules 1 to 3 times a day during a meal.
