ALA is a compound (fatty acid) that occurs naturally in the human body in mitochondria and is involved in energy metabolism. ALA occurs in the form of two isomers S-ALA (which is chemically synthesized) and R-ALA (which is produced by the body). Traditional chemical synthesis of alpha-lipoic acid gives a mixture of these two isomers, while the R-ALA form has much more activity. ALA is a powerful antioxidant that dissolves in both water and fat, thus neutralizing free radicals soluble in both water and fat. It significantly affects the renewal of other antioxidant resources - vitamin C, glutathione, coenzyme Q10 and indirectly vitamin E. Supplementation with alpha-lipoic acid shows benefits in various situations of oxidative stress.

INGREDIENTS

R-alpha lipoic acid, rice flour, soybean oil, gelatin (capsule shell), calcium salts of fatty acids (anti-caking agents).

APPLICATION

One capsule a day. Do not exceed recommended servings for consumption during the day. The product cannot be used as a substitute for a properly varied diet. The product is not recommended for pregnant and lactating women.
