DESCRIPTION
Daikon is a white Japanese radish. Sengiri is the Japanese term for "cut into strips". Sengiri daikon is sun dried. This drying only occurs when the wind is cold, so that the original sweet, soft taste is preserved. Daeng Sengiri is delicious when used in sushi, miso soups or salads.
PREPARATION METHOD
Soak for about 10 minutes, fry the filtered pieces briefly in oil, add the remaining water after soaking and cook for about 10 minutes. Season with shoyu sauce, rice vinegar, myrrh and ginger (optional). Combine with other root vegetables.
