DESCRIPTION

Spelt is an old type of wheat. Spelt grains ripen in thick shells, protecting them from contamination. Spelt can be ground to obtain whole grain spelt flour suitable for baking bread and cakes. Cooked and mixed spelt is a great base for chops and pastes.

METHOD OF PREPARATION

Boil the previously soaked spelt for several hours and boil in fresh, salted water in a 1: 3 ratio (1 serving of spelled for 3 servings of water) for approx. 90 min.
