Description

Sesame seeds are placed in the pods of a tropical plant. They are small, flat oval grains, about 3 mm in size. Seed colors vary from white to shelled, to cream to beige. Characteristic for oriental cuisine, ideal for salads, soups, desserts. From sesame seeds, cold pressed sesame oil is produced, which is the basis for the production of margarines. It is also the main ingredient in the production of halva.
