APPLICATION

The main industrial use of borax is the production of glass, glaze, ceramics and glass wool. It is also used to produce sodium perborate (NaBO3) used especially in Europe in the form of bleach in detergents. In addition, sodium tetraborate is used as a welding and soldering flux and as a fertilizer component. In households, it is used even to combat insects, as well as a cleaning, disinfecting and deodorizing agent.
