Vitamin D is derived from lanolin, which is used to obtain 7-Dehydrocholesterol - an organic derivative of cholesterol. 7-Dehydrocholesterol is a starting compound for the production of cholecalciferol. As a result of production processes, vitamin D is obtained in an analogous manner as in humans - that is, by exposing the skin to the sun.
Vitamin K in the patented form VitaMK7® is one of the few sources of 100% natural vitamin K, very well absorbed, tested and documented for an opinion by EFSA (European Food Agency).
