DESCRIPTION
Clay is a type of soil produced by metamorphosis of rocks that is naturally rich in mineral salts. Occurs in larger or smaller sediments and in most cases is extracted from open pit. PREPARATION METHOD
Preparation of clay paste: pour green clay into a wooden or glass container and add water, leave for 30 minutes, then mix with a wooden or plastic spatula to obtain a homogeneous paste. Ultra-ventilated green clay can be used alone or in combination with essential oils.
Face mask: apply clay in a thick coat to the face and neck, avoiding the area around the eyes and lips. Leave on for about 10 minutes, not allowing the mask to dry on the skin. Rinse with lukewarm water and dry the skin with a cotton towel.
As a wrap: Put the clay on a piece of natural fiber and use a non-metallic spatula to spread it 2-3 cm thick. Make a clay wrap directly in contact with the skin and hold it with a bandage, but not too tight. If the compress applies to the irritated area, put a thin gauze between the clay and the skin. Leave the compress in place for one hour. When it comes to removing, remove as much clay as possible, moisten it if necessary, then rinse with lukewarm water and dry the cotton towel.
Preparation of clay water: Drain one or two tablespoons of green clay into a glass, add water and mix with a wooden or plastic spoon. Wait for the clay to fall on the back of the glass and use only clay water.
