Coconut oil is interesting because of its fresh, coconut flavor and aroma. Coke palms from which coconut oil is made are grown in areas such as Indonesia, the Philippines, India, Malaysia and Sri Lanka. 
The oil is produced by pressing of a coconut. Coconut oil mainly contains of medium chain fatty acids such as lauric, caprylic, capric, myristic and others. It is a very stable and universal oil, which is why it has gained so much popularity. In addition, it has bactericidal, antioxidant properties and contains vitamins and minerals.
We sell two types of coconut oils: refined and unrefined.
Refined oil is a purified oil that does not have the characteristic taste and smell of coconut. For this reason, it is very versatile, suitable for frying dry dishes, but also for sweet dishes. Perfect for preparing exotic dishes.
Unrefined oil has an intense coconut aroma and a slightly sweet aftertaste. When obtaining such oil, high temperatures are not used, they are cold pressed. Such oil is more valuable than refined, it has antioxidants that fight goiter radicals in our body and sterols that show antibacterial activity. This oil is ideal as a cosmetic. Refined, however, loses tocopherols, sterols and polyphenols during purification, but has a higher smoke temperature, which means we can heat it to higher temperatures. For this reason, it works, for example, as a substitute for margarine in cakes and for frying. Both oils can be used as a bread spread instead of butter and added to fruit smoothies.
It is used not only in food, but also in cosmetics. We recommend choosing unrefined coconut oil because it will nourish our skin and hair better. It can be used as oil for moisturizing the skin all over the body and as a mask when oiling hair. Such use will smooth and nourish the skin and hair. It gives a long-lasting effect and is easy to use. Thanks to its antibacterial properties, we can make toothpaste from it.
